On the pegs

Some rare Sunday brunch hangout time with g in Park Slope, followed by some grocery pickup and a quick $3 Happy Hour beer @ Soda.

Another day through the park

Prospect Park is quickly becoming my favorite local refuge from the masses of large buildings and people that dominate most of my days around New York. It's nice to have such a kick-ass place nearby to escape to that virtually allows you to melt away from the city life and catch your breath a bit. I've only just started to explore the many interesting points and paths and fields...almost exclusively on my bike...though I intend to continue making regular visits.

clear

The clarity comes quick and brief
but I embrace the fleeting relief
and enjoy the peaceful state of mind
and joy that comes these rare times.

A Saturday stream

Separating from the familiar past
Even while reconnecting the paths
That I lost, or frayed, in my mind
Deparately trying to find
The paradox is wearing me
Down, down-quite confusingly
Yet I understand...understand
That nothingness is everything

End of Summer

June came and went.
July, no beach, not enough sun...though some nice nights on back porch.
August, summer wrapped quick. Before long, time to pack up...say by to roommates, family, and friends.
Beloved Biosphere has been emptied:

September comes...all packed and ready to move to New York:

Hello Uhaul storage:

October, flowing by. New job in the city, and the cool air is coming.
